PM will lay the foundation stone for the NTPC-BHEL project at Mannavaram on September 17

Business Line reported that the proposed visit of Dr Manmohan Singh prime minister of India to lay the foundation stone for the NTPC BHEL joint venture power project at Mannavaram in Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh has been put off to September 17.

Initially, the Prime Minister was slated to lay the foundation stone for the power equipment project on September 5 and 6 during his two day visit to Tirupati.

A communication from the Chief Minister’s Office said the prime minister in the revised schedule will visit Tirupati on September 16.
